Technical Notes - Architecture
The NCDesk application is a locally installed client application. It is developed using Java™, requiring client computers to have a Java™ runtime installation. When using NCDesk for learning and practice, the software does not require connection to the internet. However, when used for testing, NCDesk communicates to a central "testing" server to get test items and collect responses from students.
