NCDesk

Versions

Starting on October 18th, 2004 the first release of NCDesk was made avaiable. The first release was for Windows computers and was followed by a copy for installation on Macintosh OS X computers. A Macintosh "Classic" install was released on November 1st, 2004. In spring 2005, development of the Macintosh "Classic" version was discontinued and there are no plans to resume. Check the download page to obtain the most recent version. Updates to these installable releases have been made. Reasons for these updates are noted on the Release History page.

The current version is to be used to conduct the Online Test of Computer Skills starting on October 2, 2006. There may be automatic updates to this application before the opening of the administration window. All automatic updates must be permitted before starting a test session. No automatic updates are planned during the testing window.

Anyone who has an early copy of NCDesk must download the newest version and re-install to obtain the required full functionality.
